ROOTS: The Mystery and Magic of Writing for Self-Discovery. This is a ROOTS Community Class! All are welcome. Donations to the Roots program are appreciated, but not required.

Journaling together is a beautiful way to discover those parts of your own story which you want to explore through private writing and group sharing. We wake up to the still small voice within by engaging in contemplative correspondence with our own self. We create an intimate, safe space for you to explore what you need in your life, what is asking to be expressed, and what gives your life meaning. We may also add some guided meditation.

Host: Becky Myrick

Becky has a background in holistic health & spiritual direction. She has led groups about women’s spirituality, living with chronic illness, and creativity.  Becky also teaches people to find play in their bodies and in their stories through InterPlay. She believes self-expression, in an affirmative and encouraging setting, is a remarkable and magical way to find healing, self-love & self- acceptance. Journaling has always been an important part of her own spiritual journey; so sharing its magic with others is a joy for her.
