ROOTS Gyrokinesis Workshop

Come join us for an easy and accessible introduction to the Gyrokinesis® methodology for improved mobility and balance.

Gyrokinesis® is a world renowned methodology that teaches people the simple and healthful movements of the spine and remapping dysfunctional and parasitic movement patterns. It helps people understand how to rediscover ease of movement and encourages them to incorporate breath into their movements for reduced strain and tension. The simple choreographies allow a group to experience the pleasure and unity of moving together in a shared experience.

This workshop will be taught by Sara Rose Thomsen of Tango En Vie. Sara Rose is a renowned Argentine Tango instructor with over 30 years of mastery of numerous movement styles from yoga, ballet, and martial arts to ballroom and tango. Having grown up on Orcas Island Sara is dedicated to offering opportunities to small communities that build community bonds and help people from all walks of life have access to principles and ideas that make their lives easier and more joyful.
